My Style

Culottes and a Crop top

A graphic print makes a bold statement. These Sanctuary graphic culotte pants are the main piece of this outfit. I paired a simple white crop top, nude shoes, and this blush clutch for some subtle color.
I was nervous and excited when I bought these pants because they are crazy to me! Culottes and this bold print! At least the are black and white. I definitely dress of myself and it is a bonus when my husband likes it too. I really thought he would hate these but turns out he loved them! This outfit got to be for a date night instead of a girls night.
I wish my bellybutton wasn’t peaking out!

the breakdown:
Culottes can be tricky to wear because of the silhouette and length. I am not that tall so the length of these pants is an issue for me. I chose to wear these nude TopShop shoes because it helps elongate my leg. No way could I wear a flat with this style of pant. A pump that shows a lot of foot could also work. If you have long legs, you can rock any heel with these pants! I love a crop top with a high waisted pant, I wore this top in this post
top | Zara similar
pants | Sanctuary ‘tiki printed culottes’ from Indigo and also here.
shoes | TopShop [old]
clutch | Burberry [old]
*bracelet | Gorjana ‘marrison handchain’ from Southern Couture
*Brandee, the owner of Southern Couture is so sweet. I really wanted a hand chain. The one Brandee had in stock at Southern Couture was an actual ring with a chain attaching it to a bracelet. I loved the style but it did not fit my fat fingers, I was so sad. Brandee went out of her way to special order me this hand chain which is also a chain around your finger so it fits any size!
