My shower was just over a week ago and it was one of the most amazing days. To see so many friends and family there to celebrate this little baby on the way was so meaningful. Everywhere I looked there were special decorations and little details here and there. I have to give a huge thanks to my friend Cristina for hosting this beautiful shower for me. I can’t imagine how much work she put into this shower. She made the invitations herself, once I saw that I knew her craftiness would be on full display. She is so talented!
I pretty much wanted to take everything and use it for the nursery.
This table may have been my favorite because… it had all the desserts!
What is a shower with out some crafts and games? Guests chose a block (or 2!) with a letter and were able to decorate it however they wanted. I had a lot of laughs when going through the blocks later that night. I really wish my friends put their name on it but I know most were too ashamed of their artwork. They may not be the best artists but the blocks were decorated out of love and I know Myles will enjoy playing with them no matter what they look like!
Checking in with my mama to see how her block was coming along.
Sorry for posting all these sweets but they are just too adorable not to share, not to mention soooo delicious!
Can’t forget games! I get a little nervous with game sometimes but I had so much fun and laughed so hard! There were 3 different piles of cards, one was for Pictionary, the second was like Taboo and the last was celebrity baby moms. I love looking at the pictures of peoples faces and reactions. Part of the reason I may have had so much fun was because my team won!
The grandma’s cracking up about something!
Here is most of the crew. By the time we got around to taking pictures some of the guests had to leave. I care so much about all these woman and I am lucky to have them in my life!
My dress if from Indigo. I had a few outfit options in my closet already but the day before my shower none of them seemed right. I wanted something slightly flowy without looking like I was wearing a tent. Indigo is my go to store so of course I found exactly what I was looking for. The dress is not maternity so I know I will be able to wear it in the future.
This handmade quilt is incredibly soft. I know there will be a lot of cuddle moments with me and the little one!
My mom and sister were able visit from Ohio to come to the shower.
Darling party favors filled with chocolates.
Once again, I cannot thank my friend enough for putting this whole shower together by herself! It was a dreamy day celebrating baby Myles and I can’t wait for his arrival!
Live votre rêve!
*Since I have posted about my babyshower my friend has started her own event busienss, Lemon Events. Her designs are truly one of a kind. She creates her own photo back drop and even a unique game! Click here to see her work!
