An Afternoon at Muddy’s Bake Shop

Yesterday, I had a little meeting with some of my girlfriends who are all small business owners or aspiring business owners. We had the privilege to sit down with the lovely owner of Muddy’s Bakeshop to hear about her success and get some insightful business tips.
We talked and shared stories for about an hour but we easily could have been there much longer. We had a variety of cupcakes and cookies from Muddy’s to munch on and I had ordered a Salted Carmel Late which was like a little pice of heaven in my mouth.
The Breakdown:
Honestly, I spend most of my afternoons in workout clothes. When I go out in about I do like to put on regular clothes but prefer they are still mommy proof. I love this sweatshirt but it has been a long time since I have worn it. The reason I haven’t worn it is because I thought it would be uncomfortable if Myles were to rest is head on my shoulder. Now that I know my boy isn’t one to cuddle and rest is head, I am in the clear for this sweatshirt. I recently got these sneakers from Target, they are my first spring purchase of the season. The color is perfect for warmer weather and I love the little platform. Plus, they are under $30!! Looking at these pictures I don’t think boyfriend jeans photograph well with flats. I usually wear a type of heel with my boyfriend jeans, you can see that herehere, here, here, here, and here and a whole lot of other examples if you search “boyfriend jeans” on my homepage. When I am on the go and carrying 20 pounds of precious cargo I must wear an easy to walk in shoe!
