What I Want || Anthropologie Sale

There is so much hype about the Nordstrom Sale and it’s early access. Well, I don’t have early access and last time everything I wanted sold out by the time I had access to it. I will be checking the sales out though because there are some great deals and it’s a great excuse to shop! We all love sales and I was in Anthropologie the other day and bought a few things from their sale section and wanted a lot more. I looked online and there are even more adorable items so I decided to put my top Anthropologie sale items together for you!

I purchased this hat (2) and I love it but since it was on sale I feel like there is something wrong with it that i’m unaware of. I also saw this kimono (1) but didn’t realize how cute it was until seeing it on the model online, now I want to go back and get it. I feel like it would be a great breezy item to toss on over a bathing suit. I also got these hair clips (3) and this beautiful dress (4). This dress may not be the most flattering but the tiedye is subtle and that material is really nice, plus it has pockets! This tan bag comes in black and has a removable clutch, the black one I saw in person and thought about getting but I actually like this tan one better and might order it online. Speaking of bags, are you guys over the rattan bag trend? I currently don’t own one bag because every other person has one but I do think they are great for summer and a cross body, like this one (10), allows you to be hands free. I saw this fun dress (11) in the store too but they only had a large. I might have to order it online because I love how it looks on the model and feel I should own it. I also treated myself to this keychain (12) because I don’t have a keychain at the moment and its kinda fun to dress up your keys.

All Things Patriotic

4th of July is about 2 weeks away. We will be having our annual Red, White and Boom party. Although this year won’t be much of a party due to Mr. Noah keeping me up all night and Mr. Myles exhausting me throughout the day but will be more of a hang out. I will be providing the location and snacks and the guest are responsible for the beverages.

Here are some of my top Red, White and Blue inspired clothing to get you ready for your 4th of July parties. I already own 6, 10, 12, 13 and 14. 1 would be so cute for a hot summer cookout and I really want 3 because it’s nursing friendly!

All Things Silver And Gold

Metallics are really having a moment. Not a subtle shimmy or a hint of rose gold, bright golds and reflective silvers are found on jackets to swimwear, purses to sandals. I love metallic things and my eye is always drawn to anything that shines so I couldn’t resist putting together this metallic shopping guide.
Silver and Gold metallics are popular
Don’t wear all your metallics at once. These are very bright so wear one at a time. These are all major statement pieces!

Valentine’s Inspired Gifts

Who goes all out for Valentine’s Day!? I know I don’t but I know a lot of people that do, homemade cards, cookies, flowers, chocolates, gifts for everyone and home decor. I love all holidays and enjoy adding festive details to my home, like this adorable heart pillow and I will wear a heart something or other or a shade of pink or red on February 14th like this furry heart crossbody bag. I like to write a sweet card to my husband and that is pretty much it. One year we were out of town and had reservations at a nice restaurant but they were so backed up we decided it was best for us to put on our pajamas and order room service. As long as we are together it doesn’t matter what we have on or where we are.

Men’s Holiday Gift Ideas

When I was putting this gift guide together I realized I could go on and on. Men seem to be tough for but I enjoy finding things that they may want or most likely need. Some men in my life always have an idea of what they want and some have zero idea. For those that seem to have everything or want nothing, I like to get them something personalized or maybe a piece of art.
1. APL: Athletic Propulsion Labs ‘Techloom Phantom Running Sneaker’
We live in a fast pace world and if the man in your life isn’t a runner at the very least he will where sneaker to get from point A to point B. Most runners have a specific sneaker that fits their foot the best but these APL sneakers have a very cool and sleek look to them that any male would love to wear just because.
2. Nordstrom – Ugg ‘Cardi Wool Blend Beanie’
Hats are a great gift. You don’t need to worry about what size they need and it will be put to good use.
3. Banana Republic ‘Extra-Fine Fingerless Gloves’
It’s safe to say we all find it annoying when we need to use our phone in the winter and we have to take our glove off to use it. They do make tech friendly gloves like this pair here which I love. Sometimes there is more than just using your phone when out and about. These fingerless gloves will allow you to easily zip your coat or grab your wallet.
4. Nordstrom ‘Pop-Quiz Backpack’
Men need bags. They don’t carry purses but there is always a situation where they will need to carry more than just their phone and wallet and its handy to have a backpack.
5. Nordstrom ‘Wool & Silk Lapel Flower’
Lapel pins are very classy. Don’t let the man in your life be afraid of this flower. This is the most standard lapel pin and will make him look that much more stylish with his suit and tie (along with items 6 and 7)
6. Nordstrom ‘Brass Tie Bar Gift Set’
Tie Bars are another thing every male should own. They don’t need to wear a tie bar everyday to work but for weddings or evenings that call for suits a tie bar definitely puts a finishing touch that is very polished. This set of three has great colors you can buy them individually and in different metals and textures. This tie bar has a sleek color with texture at the end.
7. Nordstrom ‘Bee Lapel Pin’
Something about bugs I just love and this bee tie bar is the coolest. I actually might need to put this in my husbands stocking! It’s a really good price too, you can find lapel pins over $100!
8. Gucci ‘Leather High Top With Tiger’
For the designer lover. Trust me, I know this is an extravagant gift but I wanted to add one luxurious item for fun.
