My Picks || Sephora Beauty Insider Sale 2020

Unfortunately, I am late to the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale and I am definitely kicking myself. I missed out on a few items like my favorite lipgloss that was out of stock but I still got loads of great items. You have until May 1st do get your discount depending on your member status. If you aren’t a Sephora Rouge, VIB or Insider Member, click here to join.
Since I left most of my main beauty staples in Utah I have been in need of replacing them. I have some products that stay in Ohio and some products that stay in Utah but I like to bring my current favorites with me. We were only planning on being in Ohio for 2 weeks so I just planned on getting by with my basics that were already here. Now that it has been 6 weeks I’m ready for my favorite products!

The Sephora Beauty Insider Sale is always the perfect time to stock up on skincare products, makeup, luxurious items that are a bit too expensive (hello sale!), or items you have been wanting to try. I am breaking down this post by items I already own and love as well as items that are new that I am excited to try. To see which items I have already purchased I logged into my Sephora account and viewed my purchase history. This allowed me to see everything I have bought in the past and, more importantly, what shade I bought it in.

Items I Have and Love //
Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil – I got this face oil a while ago and still have it. I use it a lot more now that I live in Utah because my skin is drier. I also like my foundation to be lightweight which is usually why I use a tinted moisturizer and save my foundation for photoshoots and events but adding a drop or two of this face oil to my foundation makes my skin feel much more moisturized for every day.

Buxum Mini Top It Off Plumping Lip Gloss Set – The Buxum lipgloss I usually order was out of stock but I saw this mini set available so I added it to my cart. I like all the colors in it and I actually like mini size lipglosses because they fit in my purses, pockets, and car better.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Mini – I used this concealer all winter long and actually used it all up which never happens! I used it all up because this is the mini size. This size is perfect for one season, by the time I run out my skin color has slightly changed so it is perfect timing. I ordered this mini concealer one shade darker than the one I owned before to get me through spring.

Benefit Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel – No surprise I don’t leave the house without applying this eyebrow gel. I have a few of the mini brow gels which are great to keep in my car and in my purse. I just order the regular size brow gel to keep in my makeup drawer.

Too Faced Diamond Highlighter – The highlighter I have been using (and still have plenty left but it is in Utah) is Make Up For Ever Pro Light Fusion Highlighter and I really like it. I also like to try new things and I’ve always like Too Faced so I am excited to give this one a try.

Invisibobble Sprunchi Scrunchi – This scrunchi was near the checkout line and I thought I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. I use it at night to put my hair up when I don’t want a crease.

Glow Recipe Blueberry Gentle Cleanser – I use this as my summer cleanser. I noticed it left my skin a little dry during the winter months.

Fenty Universal Lip Luminizer – This lipgloss is so beautiful on so many different shades of skin. It has the perfect amount of shimmer and isn’t too sticky on your lips.

Drunk Elephant Night Serum – I am on my 4th bottle of this stuff. This is one product I definitely use religiously and if you are going to splurge on something while you can get it on sale, make it this serum!

New Items I Want To Try //
Farmacy Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya – With warmer weather here I really wanted a lightweight moisturizer for daytime. This product can be used AM and PM but I’m going to continue using my heavy moisturizers for PM and save this for the AM.

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation – this is the one item that I really want to try but I didn’t order it. I already have a few foundations that I want to use up before I add any more to my drawer but I love the idea that this is a serum which makes me think it would be lightweight which I prefer.

Shisheido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream Set – A good eye cream was very high on my Sephora Sale list. I have been using a depuffing cooling eye cream which I love for the morning but I wanted something to help more with fine lines and wrinkles for my evening eye cream. I am all about kits, especially when I want to try something new. In this eye cream kit, you get an eye cream, day cream and one pair of the retinol express smoothing eye masks, which I’ll have to save till I’m done nursing this baby.

Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Firming Eye Gel Cream – I deleted this item from my cart at the last minute because I already had an eye cream in my cart. This lifting eye gel cream is a fragrance-free natural lifting eye cream that sounds right up my alley. I’m sure I’ll be ordering this before the year is over.

Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Spot Brightener – I ordered this strictly because I read on that she used it twice daily on fresh acne dark spots and it really worked for her. Since being pregnant I have had a lot of breakouts on my face and even if I don’t pick at them I am still left with a dark spot. I cannot wait to try this!

Ouai Shampoo and Conditioner for medium hair – All the Ouai products I have used I have really liked and I love the packaging. These bottles won’t be an eyesore in the shower and I’ll enjoy looking at them as much as I will using them.

Drunk Elephant Vitamin C Serum – I didn’t order this product because I have plenty left of the vitamin C serum I am currently using. I heard the Drunk Elephant option is just as good as the Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic and also almost 1/3 of the price! If you’ve been wanting to try Skin Ceuticals but can’t find it in your budget try the Drunk Elephant option. When I run out of the one I am using I will definitely be replacing it with this one.

Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara – Can’t explain why I want to try this mascara when I love the one I already have. This mascara is made with beeswax and shea butter and 99% natural which I am curious about!

Deborah Lippmann Gel Lab Nail Polish – This brand of polish has been used on me at a salon but I’ve never purchased it. This polish is 7- free which is always a plus when I paint my nails now that I am pregnant. I love this color, Above the Clouds, too and thin it will be so pretty for spring and summer.

Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Palm in Peach – I am a fan of Fresh Sugar but haven’t used their lip balm before. It’s currently warm and sunny and my lips are dry and this just sounds good to me right now!

I’d love to know what your favorite Sephora purchases are! Leave a comment below!

Breaking Down Maternity Jeans

blogger maternity denim
Many of you have asked me what my maternity style is. Where to find cute and economical maternity clothes including jeans as well as nursing friendly clothing. I try my hardest not to buy too many maternity items because they can only be worn for a short period of time. There are some items you can’t live without and your body will be much happier if you just wear maternity, like jeans.
Unless your baby is due at the end of summer and you can go the last trimester in maxi dresses I suggest investing in a few great pair of maternity jeans. They don’t have to cost a fortune or even fit perfectly because your body will be changing so quickly what may fit one week will fit differently the next. The jeans I am wearing in these photos quickly became my favorite after I distressed the hem and updated them a bit.
blogger maternity denim
Target: Super affordable denim. They can be a little baggy in the zipper area but once you hit the end of your pregnancy they will fit like a glove. The looseness is actually really nice because anything too tight is uncomfortable.
H&M: I found a pair of these in the sale section at my local H&M and absolutely loved them. I was surprised they fit so well. This is another affordable brand but not all stores carry maternity so you might have to order a few online.
DL1961: This brand is a little more expensive but I often wear my side panel jeans early in my pregnancy and for months after. They are very soft and comfortable.
Citizens of Humanity: It does feel nice to wear good quality denim. It’s hard to spend a lot of money on maternity clothes but if you find a great pair of jeans you’ll wear all the time it is worth the splurge. They can also be worn for your other pregnancies or you can let family or friends borrow them when you aren’t pregnant.
A Pea In The Pod: I went into this store for the first time a month before I had Noah. I never went to the store during my first pregnancy because I assumed this store was more matronly than I prefer to dress. There are some conservative pieces but I was so surprised at how many great brands they had! I got these shorts from there that were in the sale section.
blogger maternity denim
That subtle elastic panel is great for the early and middle part of your pregnancy. I also love to wear them post pregnancy. Your midsection is still going to be larger than normal after you deliver and it’s nice to where comfortable jeans. Don’t put all your maternity clothes away just yet!
The belly panel is very comfortable during the later months of pregnancy. You dont’t have to worry about anything digging into you and it helps disguise your belly button if it became an outie!
This tee now comes in black! Along with this white one I have the orange too, not sure I need the black but you know when you really love something you want it in every color available. That is how I feel with this shirt.
The Breakdown
After I did my little DIY project to the hem of these jeans they became my go towards the end of my pregnancy. I had worn these jeans with this same top in this post and I loved the combo so much that I wore the outfit weekly. I thought it would be good to show you guys a different way to style it. This long blazer was worn a lot last month, it’s been the perfect thing to dress up any look and is great for the chilly air conditioned indoors during the hot summer months.

Floral Maxi Bump Style + My OCD Ways

rachel roy jacket nordstrom dress
Looking back at all of my maternity looks from this pregnancy and my first pregnancy this has to be my most favorite outfit! The pretty flowers, the gorgeous purple and the embellished cut-off jacket is the perfect finishing touch for me. This post is more to share a little bit more about me and the few things that I like to have a certain way. A few of these are things that I even change at other peoples houses! Some say I have a little bit of OCD but I know I’m not the only one who feels this way bout the list below, which not in any order 🙂

nordstrom rachel roy

1. tissue paper needs to roll over not under
2. loose knobs on cabinets
3. toothpaste on the tube
4. body wash spilled down the side
5. hangers need to face the same direction (and be the same color and style)
6. money needs to be in order and the same direction
The toilet paper is something I switch when I’m places and if I open a drawer with a loose knob I’ll try and tighten it. The rest is how I like things for me in my house. Which of these bother you too??
romwe bag
I’m never one to buy a knockoff bag, I do not own any fake Louis Vuitton, Chanel, etc. but there are a number of companies who make similar bags without trying to stick a designer logo on it. I got this bag from a website that I had never shopped at before and fell in love with the color of this bag. After I got it is when I realized Chloe had a very similar bag out that’s, of course, much more luxurious!

The Breakdown
I can’t express how happy I was to find a dress that fit my bump and wasn’t fitted or t-shirt style. Those two styles were my go to this pregnancy but towards the end I got a little tired of it. I found this maxi dress in the BP section at Nordstrom and was so happy that it fit!! This dress is so cute, bump or no bump, the hem has a great flare and the buttons are an adorable touch. These shoes I have had since I got married and they are extremely worn because they are so comfortable! You can see how I wore them here, here, here and here and these are just the times I blogged in them, not to mention all the weddings I’ve worn them too. This green bag goes great with this dress and the denim jacket adds a little edge to it.

Matching Your Handbag And Shoes

pregnant fashion blogger
Is it ok to match your bag and shoes? I feel like this is something my grandmothers did. I am all about coordinating and not one to match, especially something so perfectly like this bright white leather I am sporting on my shoes and bag. When it came time to choosing a bag for this outfit, the white bag was the only one I liked.
mike conley wife pregnant

So there is no right or wrong answer to matching your shoes and handbag. Like all fashion statements, they are opinions and if you like matching your shoes and handbag then you should! While I was typing this post I was trying to really think about if I liked matching or not. I used to always think no, I was not a fan or matching shoes and bags or belts and shoes, etc. Now it depends on the color I suppose. I personally wouldn’t match neon shoes with a neon bag or red shoes with a red bag. I suppose if they are neutrals I am ok for them to match, bolder colors I prefer for them to be on their own

The Breakdown:
At 38 weeks pregnant I am not finding much that fits me. I am dying to go shopping (and to try a few new trends) but have been holding off because what fits me now won’t fit me later, unless I find a great flowy piece that fits in my normal size like the dress! This dress comes in a few different colors and I love this peach and pink option. This dress is airy and light so I chose the white accessories and light brown sunglasses and feminine drop earrings.

The Updated Bomber Jacket

rachel roy long bomber jacket
I’m still catching up on all my Memphis Fashion Week posts and what I wore. Once again, Rachel Roy graciously gifted me with outfits and I got to wear this amazing long bomber jacket that I am obsessed with! I’ve always loved bomber jackets and now that it comes in a long version it is even more fashion forward.

Is this not the coolest bomber jacket?! I absolutely love how it’s a cross between the very popular duster and bomber. The pockets are a bonus! It is sporty and dressy and can be worn for multiple occasions.

I wore this outfit to the Saturday night show at the car museum at Graceland. Prior to the show the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau treated us to a tour of The Guesthouse at Graceland where we were served appetizers and cocktails. I of course enjoyed ginger beer in a champagne flute and all the bread I could get my hands on. I had never been to The Guesthouse and was blown away by how cool it was! The outside is a giant hotel version of what the actual Graceland house looks like. The inside of the hotel is very modern and trendy.
It even has it’s own, very large, theater.

 The Breakdown:
I was so excited about this bomber when I saw it online and even more excited when I saw it in person. I initially thought of wearing it with white joggers and a t-shirt but decided to be a little more dressed up with this LBD that I wore on New Year’s Eve this past year. Like all clothes, I hope I didn’t stretch this dress out too much! These boots seem to go with every thing I choose to wear these days and they are so incredibly comfortable! I have to say I felt pretty good considering I was 36 weeks pregnant and on my feet for more than half the day but having a comfortable heel was very nice!

A Whole Lot Of Belly On Beale, Too Much?

When I was walking on Beale Street a couple weeks ago there were a few people that made comments towards me because of my pregnancy. It was a little awkward because I wasn’t feeling pregnant and I was just walking with my friends. Now that I see these pictures I understand (somewhat) why people were looking, I look like I’m about to pop. In reality I still had 1 month to go! But that still doesn’t give a stranger the right to comment on my body or tell me what I should and shouldn’t be doing because I’m pregnant.
Have any of you mothers experienced awkward pregnancy comments from strangers?
It’s not only the comments but the stares. I am still just a normal person that just that happens to be carrying a child. Only one child too. Can you imagine if women really sat at home during the end of their pregnancy because they looked so different than the rest of society? That would be awful. I actually went to a Cold Play concert two days before I had my first child. A few people asked when I was due after complimenting me. That is the correct way to make a comment to a pregnant women, always include a compliment. I will contine to be out and about no matter how large I look or how far out my belly is popping.
Casual sneakers and a dressy bag turned into a great combo!
Girls take Beale Street!
The Breakdown:
I love mixing high and low items, even casual and dressy. This look could be easily worn to a dressy event like a wedding or rehearsal if I added heels. The metallic bag, fitted dress and scarf are all pieces that can be dressed up or down, since I added sneakers the outfit instantly became casual. Before we went to Beale Street we toured the Rock ’n’ Soul Museum (which happens to be basically connected to the FedEx Forum and I never knew!) and I had been in heels the night before and was going to be in them later this night so snearks were a must. I also wore this dress in September right when I found out I was pregnant! It was the last shoot where I felt like my abs still existed, click here to read it!

Shades of Blue

I didn’t realize how many shades of blue I was wearing until I added these photos to this post. I wore this outfit for our Headliner Luncheon during Memphis Fashion Week featuring Rachel Roy. Rachel was so sweet to send influencers a variety of clothing of our choice to wear to the events! I was hesitant of what to pick out due to my belly, thinking nothing would fit me. Turned out everything I ordered fit perfectly except the dress for this luncheon! I didn’t know what to do I had ordered a size up and the zipper was still inches from closing! The dress I planned on wearing was actually the pink one that Hunter and Collins are wearing, we would have been triplets!
I had all my other outfits planned for MFW and didn’t want to break them up but I still had no idea on what to wear for the luncheon. The night before the luncheon was the trunk show and Rachel Roy was selling her stuff and I tried lots of things on and jackets were the only thing working. I walked away with this gorgeous mint colored jacket that has matching pants that are to die for!!! Oh, I would have loved to wear the pants, they are high wasted and have front buttons. Anyways, those weren’t going to work and I had to come up with something from my closet. I have had this dress for years and wore it quite a bit during my first pregnancy and before that! I’m hoping I didn’t stretch it out because I would like to wear it post baby!
Rachel Roy speaking with Memphis Fashion Design Network and Memphis Fashion Week director, Abby Phillips.
Influencers from Memphis, Little Rock, Nashville and Knoxville dressed in Rachel Roy.
Wearing booties wasn’t the plan but it stormed the night before the event and the temperature dropped dramatically! These booties are my go to with the dress and kept me warm.
(photos by Mary Kate Steele)
The Breakdown:
This outfit was thrown together last minute since my originally dress didn’t fit. Once I found this blazer I had to figure out the rest. The night before I wore a jacket and joggers and the next night was a wearing a solid colored dress and long blazer so I knew I didn’t want to wear anything like that. Joggers and fitted dresses are really all that fit me and I didn’t want to wear jeans to this luncheon and was very happy to find this striped number in my closet. I wore this dress when I found out I was pregnant with Myles and these booties, something about this navy combo I love. The mint blazer made it feel spring like, it is April after all, and the headband scarf was a last minute add to change up my everyday curled hair.blazer | Rachel Roy ‘Mint Leaf Blazer’ (and the pants!)

Influencers Take Sun Studios

Over the weekend Memphis Fashion Week 2018 took place. This year we did something a little different and we invited four influencers outside of Memphis to join in our the festivities. The Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau got on board and hosted us to tour Sun Studios and the Rock ’n’ Soul Museum. I am very excited to blog about Memphis Fashion Week, the shows, the events and my outfits but I’m going to start with the Sun Studio’s tour.

(from L to R)
Rochelle, Hunter, Lacey, Megan, Greta, myself and Collins.

It was a lot of fun getting to tour the “birthplace of rock ’n’ roll”. I’ve lived in Memphis for almost 8 years now and I didn’t even know about Sun Studios! Not sure how that was but I am happy to know about it now. I knew Memphis had a lot of history but now I’m aware of just how much history is really here. As interested as I was I know my dad would love to go on this tour. The whole time I kept thinking how my family would love this, so next time they are here this is going to be on our to-do list!

The Breakdown:
I was very unsure about this dress. There is a lot of fabric to it and since it drapes over my belly it made me look huge under it since there is no shape to the dress. The dress is better in person because it give some movement and the jewels at the neckline help make the dress look less like a sheet. The day before our Sun Studio’s tour I was in heels more than half the day and I planned on wearing heels later this evening as well, sneakers were a must. We were doing a lot of walking around and the silver toe on my shoes were prefect with the silver accent in the jewels.
How do you guys feel about this causal look?

Memphis Fashion Week – Sneek Peak

I had the privilege of browsing through garments created by this years Memphis Fashion Week designers. Bluff City Lights teamed up with The Scout Guide Memphis and the Memphis Fashion Design Network to showcase designers runways pieces and items you can find at local Memphis shops.
“I chose to wear a kimono wrap designed by MEREDITH OLINGER, one of this years 2018 Emerging Designers. Since the kimono consists of a lot of fabric and I am not able to accentuate my waist, I wanted to wear something solid and fitted, leaving the focus on the kimono. My Sympli navy dress and Eri Shalla straw bag is from KITTIE KYLE. I love how my yellow Lele Sadoughi earrings from JOSEPH add a strong contrasting element to the look while making it feel like spring. My Aquazzura shoes, also from Joseph, help elongate my body which is needed with the long kimono and the bracelets, from Joseph, add some ethnicity which ties in the handbag and feel of the kimono. The wrap belt is hand made by the emerging designer and complements the outfit perfectly.”

Jeans And A White Tee With A Twist

I’ve worn this shirt three times since I opened it out of the box which was only a week ago! I love the twist knot in the front and it fits perfectly over my bump. This shirt isn’t maternity so I wasn’t sure if it would work perfectly or be a disaster. I did size up but I plan on ordering the other colors in my normal size for post baby, I’m going to wait and see if they go on sale first!

This shirt is on sale but today is the last day! Saks Fifth Avenue is having their Friends & Family Sale and this shirt is 25%  off,  it comes in white and a burnt orange color, actually the color of my bag.

The Breakdown:
Jeans and a white tee are classic, you can never go wrong. I love adding an extra twist (no pun intended) to this classic outfit and I chose this twist-knot tee. I absolutely love it. I did order a size up and it is a little oversize but will be easy to wear with the new baby. I’m always looking for clothes that I can wear during pregnancy and post pregnancy that are nursing friendly and this tee fits the bill which is why I bought it in the orange color too. Today is the last day to get it fo 25% off! I am in love with these shoes. I pretty much want to wear them with every outfit I put together but am afraid you guys are already tired of seeing them. They are very comfortable and easy to slip on. These earrings are being worn a lot lately too, they make a statement while remaining neutral. This bright bag I love very much. Round bags are very popular at the moment, specifially in bamboo or straw. I am staying away from that major trend and opting for round leather bags.

Babymoon: A Blog Shoot Or Maternity Shoot

Over the weekend I took my mom and son to Florida for a little getaway. It was Easter weekend which was a great excuse to travel but I like to consider this trip as my babymoon. I never had a babymoon for Myles and didn’t think I would get one with baby #2. Having a child is extremely life changing and I think a babymoon is one of the best things a couple can do. Obviously, I wasn’t with my husband because he couldn’t get off work which we were both really sad about. By the time he is able to get some time off work I won’t be able to travel because I’ll be too far along in my pregnancy. Luckily, my mom was off on Friday so she was able to come with me!
Traveling with a toddler is exhausting. Traveling while in the third trimester with a toddler is extremely exhausting and you should think twice before doing it alone (saving that topic for another post). I even thought about stay another day or two with just Myles and I since my mom had to get back to work on Monday but I knew I wouldn’t have the energy. Getting a beach chair, towels, toys, multiples cups of water throughout the day, all our meals and snacks. That is a lot of walking around and back-and-forths. Myles is a great walker but he also likes to be held so to do all of those things while possible carrying him was too much to think about.
The reason I titled this post “A Blog Shoot Or Maternity Shoot” is because I considered my taking photos in this outfit a blog shoot. This skirt was very popular on my instastories, I was on a pretty beach, so it was fitting to snap a few more photos for my blog to share the details with you guys. After I was done shooting, Myles and I were playing near the water (make sure you scroll down to see the sweetest picture of him) and there was a mom taking photos of her children and told me it was so beautiful that I was documenting my pregnancy. I had never thought of any of my blog shoots while being pregnant as “documenting” but she has a good point. I love that I have documented so much of my pregnancies and that I can go back and find them on my blog!
The Breakdown:
This skirt arrived right before I left on my trip and was perfect timing. This short trip was very casual and I didn’t need to pack anything other than a couple swim suits, a cover-up, pajamas, and one or two causal outfits. The place we stayed had a few different restaurants on the property so there was no need to get dressed up and drive somewhere. They also played kid movies every night near the pool! Needless to say, we stayed in our suits from the moment we came down for breakfast and changed just before dinner so that after the movie we could all go straight to bed.

A Few Ways Adults Act Towards Children That Drive Me Crazy

There are quite a few things I do as a mother that my pre-child self always said I woudln’t do. There are also a few things I said I’d never do, I still don’t do them and it still drives me crazy when I witness it happening!
Before I go on my rant about what bothers me I want to say I am always thankful for whomever helps me with Myles. That is why I never bring up what is exploding in my head. If you nag and get on those around you that are helping care for your child they may eventually stop helping. I know you wouldn’t want that.
Baby talk. This is the worst!!! How can you expect a child to learn to speak correctly when the adult they are learning from isn’t saying the words properly? This is something that has always bothered me, there are a few words I say like “night night”, “let’s go night night”, “boo boo”, “poo poo” and words like that. Some examples that I can’t stand… “milky”, it’s milk, ask your child if they want milk or when adults say “did you get a wittle boo boo”, a little boo boo, now wittle!! Not only is it words that adults change, it’s the tone in their voice. When talking to a baby or young child adults seem to forget how to say the /r/ sound. I have friends who talk to their dogs that way and I know they are going to be in big trouble when they have children. When people talk to my son that way I let it go because they only have good intentions. I am so thankful my husband and I are both very anti baby talk!

Picking up a strangers child. Even if the adult doesn’t think they are a stranger, the child is not familiar with you and does not want to go to you right away. If my child is lost or sad and there is no one there for him I would love for a stranger to be attentive and help him. When I’m with my child and someone he doesn’t know says I want to hold you and tried to pick him up, the adult needs to respect his body language. You can get away with this with tiny babies but when kids start to walk and talk they become opinionated and if you want to be friendly you need to get down on your knee to be eye level and start chatting about something the child will think is interesting.

The last one I’ll talk about today is when someone always thinks something is wrong with my child. I’m not a perfect mom and I don’t think I have a perfect child. I do feel like I know him better than any other adult. I appreciate concerns and if worded the right way and seems reasonable I absolutely take it into consideration. When you tell me he has colic multiple times a day when he’s only cried for 10 minutes here and there it’s going to drive me up a wall. When you ask me if he has insomnia because he’s been waking up in the night, I’m just confused because you must not know babies wake up in the night sometimes. If you don’t know, babies go through sleep phases. We are currently at the 18 month sleep regression – no insomnia! In general, mothers don’t want to hear negative things about their children. Now if Myles wasn’t making eye contact or wasn’t verbal I would want that pointed out to me if I wasn’t aware (I would definitely be aware though!).
Again, want to thank everyone in my life who has helped me with myself and my family. Raising a child isn’t easy and I’ll take all the help that is offered. I’m not talking about any one specific person in this post, only talking about what I’ve witnessed with my son and other children.
The Breakdown:
I’ve had this rust colored jacket out hanging in my closet waiting to be worn. I had so many ideas for it but when it came to go somewhere nothing seemed to work, everything I tried on was a little off. In the end everything worked out perfectly because I love this outfit. It is the perfect chic maternity look and would look as equally cool not pregnant. I love these faux leather perforated joggers, these are the ones I threw away right after this shoot because they had holes in them, they will be missed. This shirt is very soft and thick, it is maternity but doens’t have the ruching that most maternity tops have. My shoes were on sale a few almost 4 years ago, I got them over the summer in NYC before we got married. I’m so happy mules are still in style and that chunky heels are still around!
