The color of this sweater sold me and the fact that it was under $100. Once the sweater arrived and I tried it on I realized I loved the sleeves and the mock neck. I love turtlenecks but sometimes they fold weird or are too bulky and I get too hot and feel too restricted. A mock turtleneck is just right and that’s what I have my eye on now for this winter. I picked out a few other super cute ones below.
I’ll be wearing my favorite current trend, the mock turtleneck, to the Grizzlies game tonight. I wouldn’t typically wear heels during the week but these are so comfortable I’m going for it! Black can also be tricky with kids, almost worse than white. Every little spit up, snot or smear shows up. What’s a mom to do?
This whole outfit is surprisingly comfortable. A huge plus to wearing straight leg or wide leg jeans is how much more comfortable they are then skinny jeans, this pair in particular feel like sweatpants, so loose and soft. The booties I am wearing are sock booties and therefore also really comfortable. The fabric is stretchy, it’s almost like wearing a tennis shoe on a heel, haha. My lip color was borrowed from my photographer Kim, I felt like I needed a little color on my lips and I only had chapstick with me. Kim to the rescue! Lastly to be mentioned is my mock turtleneck. I love the color, the detailed sleeves, the softness, and the price point!
